<p>Shiftouris is a family-run Cypriot taverna in residential Larnaca, located on Leontiou Machaira Street. Four generations of the same family have been cooking kleftiko for over 120 years — lamb slow-cooked for 6–8 hours in large clay ovens until tender and falling off the bone.</p><p>The menu is small and includes souvlakia, seftalia, loukaniko, halloumi with village potatoes, and sides like pourgouri. The setting is simple, with a focus on the food. The family runs the restaurant themselves and welcomes both locals and visitors.</p><p>Prices range from €10–15 per person. It’s best to call ahead to reserve kleftiko, as it often sells out. Cash is preferred. Takeaway is available. Located outside tourist areas, Shiftouris mainly serves a loyal local clientele.</p>
