Marketplace terms

Clear expectations for a neighbour-to-neighbour marketplace.

These pilot terms describe how Local Finds works and the conduct expected from everyone who uses it.

Operator contact

The current pilot operator contact is Stefanos P. at hello@localfinds.cy. This public contact does not replace any fuller legal identification or service address required by applicable law.

A community listing service

Local Finds helps people discover nearby goods and privately arrange a handover. Local Finds is not the buyer, seller, delivery service, payment processor, inspector, or guarantor. No money passes through the app.

Your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, respect other people, protect private details, and follow the laws and product-specific requirements that apply to you. Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, spam, or unsafe activity.

  • Only list goods you are entitled to offer.
  • Keep availability and condition current.
  • Do not evade blocks or account restrictions.
  • Do not scrape, disrupt, or misuse the service.

Listings and moderation

Local Finds may limit, pause, expire, or remove content and may suspend accounts to protect the community or operate the service. Reports are reviewed in context and moderation decisions are logged. The service may change or be unavailable during the pilot.

Arrangements and disputes

Buyers and sellers decide whether to proceed, what is exchanged, the final price, and how payment and delivery occur. Resolve ordinary issues directly and calmly. Contact the relevant authority when a safety, legal, or consumer-protection matter requires an official response.

Voluntary support and sponsorship

One-time contributions, monthly support, and Founding Partner sponsorship fund Local Finds itself. They are separate from buyer and seller arrangements and never purchase ranking, verification, review changes, moderation priority, or access to core marketplace features.

Stripe processes these payments and issues receipts. Contributions are not presented as charitable donations and Local Finds does not promise a tax deduction. To request review of an accidental or duplicate contribution, email hello@localfinds.cy within 14 days and include the Stripe receipt reference.
