Does Local Finds handle payment?

No. Buyers and sellers agree on price and pay each other directly. Local Finds does not hold funds or take a marketplace fee.

Why do listings expire?

Listings expire after seven days so discovery reflects goods that may still be available. Sellers can refresh an item that remains available.

Is my exact location public?

No. Public listings and maps show a town, village, or approximate area. Exact meeting details stay inside an accepted request.

How do I contact a seller?

Open a listing and send a request with the quantity you need and a practical message. The seller can accept, decline, or reply privately.

What should I do about an unsafe listing?

Use the Report action on the listing. Contact the relevant public authority when the issue is urgent or needs an official food-safety response.

Can I save a search?

Yes. Signed-in members can save a search and receive new matches in their Local Finds notifications.
